UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Construction continues to progress at Gaia by Pikos in Kangaroo Point, with significant milestones reached across both the River Tower and City Tower as the $620 million Brisbane riverfront development takes shape.
At the River Tower, construction of the basement slab is progressing, with the second row of internal bracing now removed. This allows work to move forward on the installation of columns above the completed sections of the basement slab as the structure begins to emerge from below ground.
At the City Tower, excavation continues approximately 22 metres below ground level towards Basement 6, demonstrating the significant scale of the below-ground works required to deliver Gaia.
The project has also reached an important excavation milestone, with approximately 58,000 cubic metres of rock removed from the site to date.
The next major stage will include the installation of the tower crane, which will assist with the removal of the final row of internal bracing and the remaining excavation works as construction continues to advance.
With major excavation works progressing and structural construction underway, the scale of Gaia by Pikos is becoming increasingly visible on its Kangaroo Point riverfront site.
Pikos Group is proud to be working alongside M2M Constructions to deliver Gaia, with the project continuing to progress through its major construction milestones.
